Great room- very functional- loved the location
Lots of pros: -We loved the location, quick walk to the beach. Close to coffee shops restaurants, etc. We could walk pretty much everywhere. -Hotel has recently been renovated. Furniture in the room was beautiful and functional. My husband found the bed abit soft, but I thought it was good. Shower with bathtub, big kitchen sink, FULL SIZED fridge was awesome! Room felt spacious with lots of deep drawers and storage. We were able to completely unpack and really settle in. - Room was very clean upon our arrival. Metal gates on the doors were functional and made us feel very secure at night. A few Concerns- - Our room was very noisy. Mostly noise from traffic and people on the street all hours of the night. The hotel provided earlugs though, which I have never seen before and I thought was very thoughtful. - Our main concern was the lack of housekeeping. We were there for 7 nights and we received a room clean and fresh towels once during the whole stay. If you aren't going to provide housekeeping then it is important to put a broom in the room, provide a towel exchange, etc. The bathroom had no fan, so after you used the towels they became musty. After the first day we had sand on the floor and no way to sweep it up. We requested room service on day 2 and 3 and didn't receive it until day 5, even after asking three staff members for towels. We just kept coming back to a dirty room day after day. It was pretty bad.

Great location, great price
Overall a really great and affordable price! It's not a fancy hotel, but does provide room service and the basics. Great location, great price, and comfortable stay. I really liked that it had a kitchenette even with a small plug in stove, however there are no cooking utensils or mugs. This would be a plus for future improvements - even just a few basic items.

Overall good
Overall a good experience. The hotel is not really a hotel, it is a condo block which is rented out by a local office. There is not lobby here and I had trouble finding where to check in until a man came out and greeted me, but this was about good 10 mins of me looking for the entrance. I did find that I had a email sent to me in how to check in but I was already travelling without Wi-Fi so I did not receive it until after check in. The host Robert was very nice guy, I arrived early and he did everything possible to check me in at 1pm rather than 3pm, which is the official check in time but not stated explicitly in the post on here. The beach is about 3 mins walk, very close, many hotel resorts around. A few mins walk to the three storey Shopping Mall. And the bus stop is just outside the building. I rented a car from a local Tours 4 Less around the corner when all major car rental companies were booked out. I did venture 1 block north and had a guy approach me to ask if I wanted to buy drugs, but I guess it could have happened anywhere. Over all a good experience.

Good
The people here were very friendly and the location was great. It was a couple blocks to the beach and all the shopping. I was expecting a kitchen, as it is listed, but there is only a fridge, microwave, and sink. No utensils or dishes, like most condos provide. The bed was very old and uncomfortable, but they did have both a window AC unit and a ceiling fan so that was a plus. And the room was very big! The price did include parking, which was great, and there are a limited number of stalls, but we were able to find parking for all of the nights we were there. They did offer free wifi, but it was so slow that it wasn't worth using. This was a very reasonable nightly rate, and you do get what you pay for.
