Exceptional 10.0
Pleasantly Surprised
Although Hotels.com said my hotel name was Caroline Suite, when I arrived, I was directed to the next floor up which was called Suite Caesar/Hotel Halifax. The hotel itself is small, but my room was spacious enough for a mini fridge, double bed and table/chair seating area. My bathroom was bright and clean and always had fresh towels and toilet paper. Located just a minutes walk from Roma Termini Station, it was ideal for exploring Rome by Metro or bus. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants around and inside the train station, many shops including a grocery store. Even at night, I felt safe here.

ok for one day stay
For one day stay it worth the money-$107. Pros- the staff was friendly. Cons- broken elevator, leaking shower head, clogged drain, only two towels were provided for two peoples. The local area is not good.

Fair 4.0
Close to freezing temperature outside and the receptionist refused to turn up the heat, the heater was barely lukewarm; I had to sleep with my jacket on.

Great room, would recommend
Caroline suites are great! Unfortunately, we were placed in a different (and completely unacceptable) hotel in the same building the first night if our stay. After letting management know our concern, we were moved to Caroline Suites, the hotel we had booked. While we are appreciative of the responsiveness to our concern, our rating would have been a 5 had we gotten the room we booked from the start. The complimentary breakfast was very good, the bed comfortable, and the room and bathroom convenient and well appointed. The only complaint about the room is that the toilet seat was the wrong size and not attached.
