Poor
Lack of instructions and sterile
Was not told had to check in at different building to get key to our building. Then find parking then walk luggage through city. The place was extremely sterile. I laid in either bedroom and looked at a blank wall.

Good
Mostly disappointing
I'll start with the good. It was nice to have so much space, and not fight over bathroom time with the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The full kitchen and living room were also nice, but a little excessive for our three night stay. It was also nice having just a key for the door to the building, and a code to get into the room. What could have been better? Where do I start. The guy handling check in at the front desk was rude, taking a personal call the entire time we were there to try & drop off our bags. The room where we left our bags before the 4pm check-in wasn't secure at all and the guy at the front desk couldn't have been paying less attention to it. We didn't even have the option to check in early - despite our room getting opened by someone else at 11:07am with our door code on the day of our departure. We weren't allowed to check in early but someone else was before we were even out of our room? The building & area itself were poor as well. Lots of homeless hanging around outside, urine smell in the streets, and the building itself wasn't that well kept either. The elevator was dirty every day that we were there, & it felt very much like this company just snatched up cheap apartments & furnished them themselves. Everything could've been updated, the floors redone, the bathrooms felt like they hadn't been renovated since 1993. For paying what we did for a three night stay, it was pretty disappointing to realize we paid for basically the space and not much else.

Fair
Very disappointing.
Noisy from construction that goes on 24 hrs. a day.Located across from Homeless Shelter and next to Men's Christian Home. A lot of homeless people as you step out the door onto the street,. The unit itself is very very worn. Broken vanity, old grout and moldy, missing caulk really scratched up floor.. The living room blinds were 2 feet too short so people in the homeless shelter could see in the living room, dining room and kitchen. We used the second bedroom for our suitcases as there were no dressers and no room on the floors in the bedroom we stayed in. Across the street is a garage that beeps every time a car passes to warn the people coming out of the garage. The free wifi was locked and we never saw anywhere what the code was. The elevator floor is paint splattered. We were told by boston police to take uber's in at night and go straight into the building and not to give anyone any money.

Exceptional
Great and productive time in Boston
I come to boston often for business. I usually stay at the typical hotels. for this trip, I was going to be in town all week and wanted something more like an apartment to do work and not have to eat out every meal. The Sonder delivered exactly what I needed. . Well appointed small kitchen, big living room, very good wifi, too many great restaraunts to name within just a couple blocks. this was my first Sonder experience. I was very impressed.
