Hotel appeal
My stay at the Savoy Hotel in the Philippines was deeply disappointing. des[ite the fact that I have stayed there many times in the past and referred many to that hotel. The long lines at the front desk for check-in and outs were frustrating and a waste of time. Despite being assured of easy room charges with a credit card on file for deposit, I had to make extra trips to to the front desk lines again in order to fix their mistakes. Our requests for towels were repeatedly ignored. The breakfast buffet had poor service and declining food quality. During check-out, they tried to double-bill me for drinks I had already paid for. Front desk customer service was unfriendly, overwhelmed, and unprofessional. I feel the hotel was greatly under staffed. The hotel's consistent deterioration has left a lasting negative impression.
