Our stay here started off not so well with a mix up about the free airport shuttle. We had confirmed to be collected at 14:00 from the airport but then after waiting until 14:30 received a message to say that the shuttle would not be coming and would have to take a taxi. Though this was frustrating the hotel did pay for said taxi when we arrived so fortunately all we lost was time. At the actual hotel there is a decent lobby with tables and chairs and the option to play table tennis though maybe additional comfy seats could be added as there was only one. We were on the top floor of this hotel which was a fair way up without a lift but nothing to worry about unless you’re very unfit with bags that weigh a tonne! The pod was very comfortable and private with the blind pulled and the room pleasantly air conditioned. The security lockers are card-key activated which is great though ours had a bit of a wonky foot so could in theory be broken into but we didn’t feel this was likely to happen and the locker was huge enough to fit all of our things into without issue. Breakfast was simple toast and spread but nice enough to hold you until later in the day and free snacks are also provided all day in the form of crisps and nuts. Water, tea and coffee are free all day too. There are a few nearby options for dinner and there’s a market immediately opposite which is handy (it’s in the same building as the 3D museum). We took the 09:00 shuttle back to the airport the next morning.
