Gevora 4 night experience
Old run down hotel in desperate need of renovation. Lifts take forever to arrive and when they do are often full as insufficient lifts to service the building properly. Check out a disaster, overcrowded and took an hour. Room service medicocre at best and over priced. Guest Services and House Keeping require multiple calls to get someone to pick up. Swimming pool overcrowded. Gym is tiny, run down/old equipment and dirty. Hotel looks classy on the outside but seriously lacks appeal on the inside.

I liked everything. Just the breakfast cud use some variety. I got the same stuff for 2 wks. The cleaners need better training as they did a speedy job and wud tell me to leave the room in an hr so they cud clean. I loved the pool and the rooftop restaurant. Gud prices. Cooking in my kitchen was not allowed yet there was a cooking range. A microwave is recommended. I wud love to come back to Gevora.

Very centrally located, the Manager & Staff was Excellent. Very Clean and helpful staff. A Beautiful Hotel, AMUST to stay and the ROOM VIEWS was Outstanding, A dream VIEW from my room, very accommodating Hotel. Was upgraded by Manager. I received a very tasty Birthday Cake. Pharmacy, Supermarket, Exchange office & Bank,Starbucks & Wendy’s etc , open 24hrs, right down the road.Just Fabulous, will be back.

The Highest View restaurant was amazing, dining with a view of the city. The pool time should get extended so people can enjoy more Conveniently located and 10 to 15 mins taxi ride to Dubai Mall and Burj khalifa. Highly recommended especially to Expedia members they honor your Gold status membership for a room upgrade.Overall it was a great experience.

The location is great. Compared to other hotels nearby this isn’t value for money. Don’t be fooled by the Gold exterior. The rooms are dated. Needs TLC. There’s a cooker in the room which you can’t use. The Nespresso machine capsules are only given on day of arrival, if you want more these need to be purchased. The lifts take forever. The pool area is nice the music is not family friendly. Lot of tracks with vulgar language.
