Charming historic b&b, great location. Host Ryan was very welcoming. Our room was lovely, on top floor with many stairs but no issue for us. Great breakfast.

Perfect Slice of Eden
Our stay at the Amethyst Inn was truly a little slice of Eden among the busyness of life. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts prepared each morning by Serena, and the service provided by Ryan was amazing. He is a font of knowledge regarding all things Victoria! My husband and I stayed in the Duchess Suite and as someone who battles poor sleep, I was amazed to discover myself sleeping like a teenager. :D The location is perfect, with Ross Bay only a short walk away and multiple dining options also close by. (We recommend the Tartan Toque for some local flavour!) Oak Bay is near, if you desire tranquility and downtown Victoria is also not far, and always bustling. We will certainly be back, should we be so blessed as to return to Victoria in the future!
