Outside Front entrance was poor…dead plants could have been replaced with seasonal greens or winter pansies. Steps needed sweeping Gives a poor impression of a great interior! Excellent breakfast but no good morning or conversation from server feels unwelcoming. Our third time and really think it’s great value

This is a bed and breakfast. It is an old mansion that is in beautiful condition. The rooms are like staying in a 1920’s well to do home. The breakfast is not a cold cereal and buns. It is a full 3 course sit down breakfast served in the dining room. After breakfast we skipped lunch both days. You can walk to downtown in 20 to 30 minutes as it is only 2 kilometres. Amethyst Inn is our go to place now (if there is room).

Very historic and interesting property. Nice part of town. Convenient to down town and water. The carpet needed to be replaced in my room but overall very clean property. Great Breakfast and very friend staff. I will stay there again on my next trip to Victoria.

Beautiful gem in a convenient location. The staff is very kind and breakfast in the dining hall was very lovely. Conveniently located about a 30 minute walk from the harbour and other attractions. Would definitely come back for a peaceful stay in a very unique location.
