Family-friendly design oasis
Loved this little gem of a hotel, family friendly rooms with kitchenette and eat-in area, great design and lovely, friendly and warm staff. Fun area to discover as a family, there is skating nearby at the South Street Seaport. We would rebook anytime.

Great spot, would stay again.
Brand new spot, surprised at how appointed the hotel details, very friendly, smells great throughout, my room had a high end kitchenette and nice dishes + silverware which actually came in handy, rooftop is really nice but i don't think there was a bar serving drinks when i went up, the only disappointment is that there was no fitness center, they had yoga and other class activities but no equipment. perfect hotel if you needed to work remote because of the floors with shared workspace

Terrific stay
The Assemblage is fabulous, both in concept, and execution. The apartment-like space was clean, roomy and extremely comfortable. I loved the books, aesthetic decor and health focused decor that included a plant that is known to clean the air. Breakfast was delicious. I’m only sorry I wasn’t around during the week to avail myself of the programs/ events they offer,The only change I would suggest is to have pullbout couches, futons or perhaps a day bed in all the rooms, not just pull out couches in the most expensive rooms.

Surprise Birthday Dinner Success
I booked the Premium King Studio for my girlfriend's surprise birthday dinner. We had friends bring groceries and all helped cook dinner in the room. From the moment we checked in, the service was such a pleasant relief. The lobby smelled a TAD stale, but it wasn't too overwhelming. The concierge was able to answer any and all questions about the room/hotel, and they were extremely accommodating and kind. There was a beautiful work space, terrace, and yoga studio available for guests to use. Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore, but we wish we had stayed an extra night to fully experience the space. The hotel itself was very quiet. Everything in the room was clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. The only strange happening was in the morning; When we were packing our things for check out, we noticed tiny ants everywhere in the room. All of the food was cleaned up, thrown out (of the hotel room itself), and most dishes were washed, so we weren't sure where they were coming from. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Fair 4.0
We have stayed here many times and were always pleased. The overall condition of the property has gone down. No coffee service in the morning on the weekends (although I asked ahead of time) One day late. the next day -none. Our room had a towel bar falling off wall, the sink faucet was not working correctly, and our shower situation was a mess. We informed the staff several times and were told ok we will check. No one fixed the items and the handicap shower allowed water to get across entire bathroom which was a slip and fall nightmare. We had to ask for extra towels everyday due to the "towel barricade" we had to build. We were "upgraded" at check-in but realized to a handicap room-the closets do not hold long dresses and we had to lay our clothes across sofa to accommodate -I did ask for a rack/rolling rack but they did not have any.The common areas where coffee is served had dishes and trash that had not been cleaned away for a couple days. I love the overall rooms but for someone who stays so often here they did not really care. The staff was friendly but did not rectify anything. I think it must be under different management.
