Lovely place and very central
Jane, gb2 night trip
Fair 4.0
I called ahead to say we would be arriving late in the evening and we received a friendly welcome from the owner. The room was clean and well presented. On our second night we were locked out in the pouring rain. We called the owners and they said they were at a party and wouldn’t be back for 20 to 30 minutes. Fortunately there was a pub across the road which we could wait in but at this point we were already soaked through. Apparently another guest had deadlocked the door from the inside which is why we could not get in. The owners did apologise but no discount or compensation was offered.

Great place, very comfortable
Great place, close to town, no breakfast as made clear when booking, but plenty of place near by, fantastic host, made to feel very welcome, we will be going back soon

Came away disappointed...
Feel like we were misled. Free parking is a private drive at the back of the property which can only fit two cars (one for the owner). Room was pokey and hit with the smallest tv in the world, no full length mirror, bed was a divan with the wrong type of mattress (too soft) and any movement on bed cause headboard to bang. No surface space at all in en-suite for toiletries or personal items. Wasn’t made aware of any facilities so assumed they were not available like an iron or WiFi. Lovely host but felt like we were staying with our mum as each day were asked where we were going and then asked what we had done upon return.
