We stayed at this property for 10 nights and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was limited (which they do mention) but the small pastries are delicious. Want something more substantial, walk less than 2 min down the road to Family Mart for some cheap amazing food! We did run into some staff that only speak little English but lets throw out some facts for a second. With smart phones these days it's easy to try and use google translate to get what you need. It really takes little effort on your part to make it easier on them to understand you. You are visiting their country, not the other way around. The staff that we did speak to who can speak English were amazing and polite. We also didn't ask for much as we only stayed in the hotel to shower and sleep. Speaking of sleep, we had booked the Superior Twin. Yes the twin beds were fine. Mattress was comfortable but firm (which seems to be a standard in Japan) and freshly pressed pyjamas were in the room as well. The tub was amazing to wind down after a long day of walking. Space is tight but it's very manageable. Rooms were quiet and had comfortable sleeps. The thermostat however was kinda weird as it took a while for it to heat up and when it does it gets too hot fast. Overall the property matched all of our expectations. It's a wonderful boutique hotel in a wonderful neighbourhood with amazing train access. You couldn't ask for anything more.

Room was a bit small but had a great design and was very clean. Staff was very accommodating and spoke English well. The location was near subway as well as shopping and food.

I think the cleaners should take all the bins out of the room. Used cups, used tea bags, etc were left in the room after cleaning.

Quaint Little Stay in Ebisu
Great place! Clean room, great bathroom/shower. Right next to the Ebisu station, super convenient. It’s in a quiet area so you are away from all the noise of the city while still being able to access it quickly from the train. Highly recommend.
