Good hotel
Good location, easy to access subway stations, good breakfast

Convenient stay with good location
Location is good, just 2-3 mins walk to the nearest train station. The hotel is close to the famous shopping malls and centre areas which takes around 10mins walk only. There are 2 convenience stores right next to the hotel. It opens 24hours. So you can grab food or stuff anytime. The staff are very polite and nice. The room is not big, like most of the hotel rooms in Japan. But it’s clean and tidy, with all the basic amenities and facilities. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are on a budget.

A good hotel close to public transport
Great central place to visit Nagoya. Lots to see around although quite close to the red light district where everything opens after 5pm.

1st Time in Japan - This was the best 1st step.
Honestly - I didn’t know what to expect for my first time in Japan. The concierge was very friendly, had someone who spoke English which was great. The room was the perfect size for a single traveler. Mattress was comfortable (please be aware Japanese pillows are NOT like western pillows-but I was comfortable regardless). There was plenty of space for me to keep my things are charge everything that needed to be charged. The bathroom was small but again, for a single traveler you don’t need space for luxury. ALL amenities were offered: soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, razor, etc. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will be choosing APA again in the future.

APA - I dig it, always better than good.
Yeah, it's APA. They're never awful, they're never perfect. They're always a step above solid.

Great location
The room we stayed open directly onto a bilboard, we get a huge letter “A” right in front of us, but we were very amused as we never expect any great view to begin with. The location is extremely convenient, just one station away from the super busy sakae station. The trick is to access it using the subway station exit with elevator if travel with lots of lugguages. For the price the room is larger than average compared to those in other big cities. Overall we were very satisfied.

Efficient but crammed.
Hotel is very new and room is efficiently organized. However, people used to having normal rooms in North America will have difficulty placing & organizing their luggage in such a small room and also having their shower in such a tiny bathroom. That said, staff are helpful and courteous.

Must get clear before going
It's nice to stay at a hotel near Nagoya Castle, but it is really too confusing with all other APA hotels in Sakae area.
