Area of hotel was awesome! Bed like a rock! Taxi couldn’t find it for 30 minutes. We just drove around in circles...

The Triviho - for Travellers going Light and Solo
The Triviho Hotel was a decent choice for staying in the area of the Piaza Barberini within a reasonable walking distrance from the train station. It was a good base from which to explore key sites nearby - the Borghese Gallery, The National Roman Museum in the Palazzo Massimo and in the Baths of Diocletian. It was also not too far from important monuments like the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon. The hotel itself had only a few dozen rooms, but was well appointed. The rooms featured high end finishes and excellent lighting and controls for things like the window shades. The rooms too, were on the small side, and one felt this particularly in the bathrooms which seemed constrained by their awkward layout. The biggest drawbacks were the small room safes and the lack of adequate storage space. The open shelving / clothes storage area was not capable of hanging a full-length coat or woman’s dress. Even a man’s jacket “sat” on the shelf that was at waist height. The staff did speak English and were quite welcoming. The front desk was also manned all hours––a convenience worth a premium.

Hidden gem of a hotel in a great part of Rome
Gorgeous, clean rooms in a great part of Rome. We requested a room which would accommodate mom, dad and two kids and were assigned two adjoining rooms with king beds which had a common door which locked. Very safe and parents also had their privacy. Parking in the area was very easy. Trevi fountain, Spanish steps were a 15 minute walk away. Will definitely stay here upon our return.
