Good Reasons to Avoid, for Me, Anyway
An old fashioned motel sadly in need of updating. Of course, the rates don't reflect the property or its condition, just the location. The room had a strange aroma -- don't know whether it was disinfectant or ???. There was a Chee-to under the chair, and the bathtub/shower wasn't very clean. The desk chair felt like it would buckle under my weight. To top it all off, the guys next door had a pitbull that would bark at us whenever when approached our room. On the way out, we asked whether there was any coffee. Of course, there was none. We had to stop at a very popular Dunkin' Donuts where the line was out the door. I suppose the owner doesn't feel the need to pamper guests because being in a primo recreational area, there is no problem filling the hotel. I guess I'll have to pay more at another property next time in the area, and I will definitely avoid this place.

Great location for a hike up Mount Washington. Pool, hot tub, nice rooms, and a 2 minutes walk from restaurants and liquor outlet. Highly recommended.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Royalty inn! Kids loved the heated outdoor and indoor pool and hotel is walking distance to restaurants, shops and the best little ice cream stand right across the street! Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
