Lovely place! Great views of the strait between Sooke and the Olympic Peninsula, with whales and sea lions. Worth the long country road to get there. Dine at Wild Mountain in Sooke: excellent!

Our stay here was fantastic. Christie in guest services was extremely accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. The view is unparalleled and the cottage was beautifully furnished and had everything one could need. Even all the construction could not take away from the beauty of this place.

Unit was clean and ready for our stay including a fully outfitted kitchen. We brought food for three days and enjoyed the ocean views sun up to sundown. Watching whales, seals, sea birds and even dozens of boats fishing for salmon. Sunsets were amazing and the views of the Olympic Mountains across the straight added to the Straight.

This property is Beautiful! It is quite remote though. You are about 30-40 minutes from Sooke. Unit was stocked with dishes, but nothing is there for cooking except salt & pepper. So, if you plan to cook remember stuff like oil for the pans and spices etc. No BBQ on site either. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or peaceful escape, this is your spot. The area is breathtaking. Overall, I would recommend!

The location is spectacular! Isolated and perched on the cliffs. Units are new, modern, large, and well equipped. Near great hiking in the regional park. But miles from everything else, including dining. Steep stairs access all but ground level units. Zero amenities. Not a 'resort' yet. Great hideaway for adults. Questionable for kids and older folks.
