Excellent newer hotel close to Borough Market
We booked two premium one bedroom apartments for our family vacation. One of them was the accessible suite on the first floor (104), the other one on the sixth (609). We had issues with both rooms. Our room on the first had A/C problem, while the shower drain on the sixth was slow. The A/C issue was fixed on the second night of our stay but the drain was never really looked into until we flipped the drain cover over and discovered a massive hair clog and advised them. I would chalk this up as general issue with a newer hotel. One of our apartments has a skyline over the sofa bed. There is a blind for ours and is controlled by a white remote installed next to the entrance with the up and down arrows. I wish the hotel would provide a user guide for the lighting system in our unit as during one night I managed to turn on the ceiling nightlight in our bedroom and couldn't figure out how to switch it off (to much dismay of my wife). Somehow the lighting system managed to reset over the next few days and I never accomplished this feat again. As other reviewers mentioned, the location of this hotel is just superb. It is within a nice ten minute walk to the Borough Market, London Bridge tube/rail, and the Millennium Bridge. We took advantage of this and went to a summer late opening at St. Paul's and had the most wonderful sunset view at the top of the dome. A nice 15 min walk afterwards took us home. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Weekend stay
Booked this for the weekend for my partner and I and it was perfect for us. We checked in at nearly 10pm, check in was easy, very quick and friendly. We stayed in a premium studio, it was very clean, spacious enough, there were cooking facilities, a large fridge and all the required dishes, cutlery, utensils and a dishwasher, the bed was big and very comfy, the rainfall shower was nice and there was plenty of space to store our clothes etc. The tv only had 7 channels which would’ve been a let down if we’d been there to watch tv! The location is ideal, we walked along the Thames and weren’t too far from several tube stations making it easy to get into central London. There is a great pantry on the first floor that you’re invited to help yourself to and upon checking out we left our baggage as we went into London for the day before picking our bags up before the journey home. Would absolutely recommend here and will stay again

Loved it!!!!
I really did enjoy my stay at Native Bankside. It will be my go to place to stay whenever I am in London. It is in a great location and close to everything. With that being said, there are a few things that I would suggest... the first being that there should be a full-size broom in the apartment instead of a mini hand broom and dust pan, as well as extra garbage bags. I checked in on Sunday evening and was there for a week. By Thursday, I had to ask for trash bags and for the apartment to be swept. Where to drop the garbage was also not clear. I’m not sure what the servicing schedule is (it was not explained clearly at check-in), but if I had a broom and trash bags, I wouldn’t have needed the apartment serviced. Also, thanks to google, I learned how to properly use the oven/microwave combo. I loved the pantry area! I wish I had gone there before going to the supermarket. My daughter and I definitely enjoyed our visit. I would recommend Native Bankside and I will be back for sure!
