Excellent Hotel

This is an amazing hotel and was thrilled with the price. The front desk attendant was fine but not overly friendly. The size of the rooms are so nice. Only two things I could complain about were they had no microwave and they didn’t make our beds or anything. They came in and changed towels but left bedding everywhere. But overall great great hotel!

Only 2 elevators. One was not working for few days stay. Firepit gas not working. Automatic first front slider door only opened partially. Bathrooms not kept up by elevator. Aside from cheap coffee maker in room, no complimentary coffee offered in lobby. Paid $540 for a plain black coffee. Very disappointed for staying at a Courtyard. Should have gone to Holiday Inn Express.

Poor Timing

The hotel was very clean and updated. We picked this hotel over other ones because of the free parking and nice outdoor pool. When we checked in, there was a sign at the front desk stating, "Pool closed until further notice." Apparently, they were draining it because someone broke a glass in the pool. Also, there were 2 elevators in the hotel, but only one worked! We stayed 4 nights. One of the days, housekeeping didn't show up to clean our room. Overall, it was a decent hotel. Our timing however, seemed to be unfortunate with a broken elevator and an empty pool. (They filled the pool within 48 hours, so it wasn't a total loss).

Inconvenience

Only one of two elevators was working the entire weekend. “Sorry for inconvenience…..”, Wi-Fi in rooms didn’t work, again “sorry for the inconvenience……”, processor not working at checkout, couldn’t print a final bill, but did email a copy, “sorry for the inconvenience….” My next trip to Tampa will be at a different hotel and teach me to ask questions before booking a stay.

Decent property, nice overall but they have what seems to be an ongoing fire alarm issue with their cantina / hotel kitchen that causes the fire alarm to go off around 4 in the morning. A member of staff admitted the event was not the first time.

Poor policy charging for something I did not use

The hotel was very good and staff friendly. No free coffee in lobby. We were charged a different amount than stated on Hotels.com and an extra $50.00 was added to the bill for incidentals without being told. When I called about it they said it was for incidentals and would be refunded to me in about a week. This seems extreme since anything you would buy would be charged to your card already
