Mountain Flower Hideaway is a dream come true in every sense! It is a beautiful, amenity-rich cabin that provides guests both seclusion and a fabulous location minutes to Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and all of the treasures of the High Country. The long-range views are stunning and the property boasts ample parking for guests and tons of outdoor space for stargazing, mountain storm watching, fires in the fire pit, grilling, yard games, and walks through the property's unique rhododendron tunnel. The inside is no less impressive. The main floor is comprised of a master bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite half bath (and washer and dryer). The master bedroom has two large closets, an armoire, and plenty of room and natural light for relaxation. The full bath (with tub and shower) is also located on the main level. The kitchen is a cook's dream! It is well-appointed with anything that weekend guests could need and is pleasing to the eye with granite countertops, soft-close drawers, and stainless steel appliances. The dining area and living room are also located on the main floor. There is a book and game library along with a flat screen TV for guest entertainment. The stone gas log fireplace that anchors these two living spaces is a beautiful feature for guests visiting on cold mountain nights. The upper level is comprised of two lovely bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have ample closet and dresser space. There is also a half bathroom upstairs as well. The cabin has been lovingly cared for and decorated. Guests will be delighted with the art, books, games, and personal touches that are located throughout the home.

The cabin itself is adorable. It's surrounded by rhododendrons and has a great view. The directions provided were perfect, and we found the place with no problem at all. It was fantastic to be able to throw the windows open and sleep without A/C in the middle of July. The s'mores and breakfast casserole were a nice touch. We all enjoyed an evening by the fire pit. This was our first time using Home Away, and we were very pleased! I highly recommend this property, and hope to visit it again at some point.

The owners of the cabin have gone out of their way to offer more than just a bed, rather they provide guests with an experience. From the breakfast casserole and s'mores kit provided for guests to the plush bath towels and board games, every element of care was taken to offer a wonderful cabin experience. Located just minutes from Blowing Rock, this cabin offered something for every member of the family. Quiet reading nooks, a fire pit, and a walking trail through the woods. The kitchen was well appointed with nearly every kitchen tool one needs. The cabin was cleaner than most hotels and we felt very safe.

This cabin was the perfect family getaway spot! It was immaculately cleaned and maintained and had everything we needed! We loved the fire pit, smores supplies, mountain peak view on from the porch and location close to beautiful parks. Only great things to say about our stay here!

    Great Cabin!

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. It had everything we needed and was a great size for our family. The property was great and we couldn't have asked for anything else. All communication with the owners was smooth and they were very responsive to our questions. We will look to stay here again for future trips to the area.

Memorable vacation in an amazing cabin!

You will not go wrong with this cabin! It is perfectly located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway between Boone and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit and a breakfast casserole thanks to the hospitality of the cabin owner. Our vacation included trips to Linville Falls, Apple Hill Alpaca Farm, Doc’s Rocks and river tubing. All activities were close to the cabin. A big plus for the cabin was the security provided by the private driveway and the scenic view of the mountains from the porch each morning. We absolutely loved our vacation and would stay at this cabin when we come back to visit!

    Private. cozy cabin!

Loved our stay at Alison and Brads cabin! Perfecto location close to Blowing Rock and our relatives that we were visiting. Directions were perfect and we loved sitting on the deck with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Cabin was spotless and essentials were there for coffee and breakfast the first day if you had no time to shop for groceries for your stay before checking in the first day. Alison was quick to respond to questions as well. We will be staying here again for sure!

    Cozy! Attentive Host!

We LOVED our time at this cabin. It’s small but the perfect size for our family of five. My husband and I stayed downstairs, our 3.5 and 5 year old stayed in the queen upstairs and our 2 year old stayed in a pack and play in the full bed bedroom. The weather wasn’t great (rainy and cold) but the cabin provided the perfect warm and cozy location for us to land after our ventures out. I wish the weather were better bc the fire pit and yard looked awesome for us and our kids to explore. The owners/hosts were extremely attentive and responsive! How was very clean and beds were comfortable! We were also impressed with the basics that the house came with such has ample soap, paper towels, and trash bags. These are things I’m used to packing bc rentals sometimes lack them, however, this cabin was stocked! We will be back!

Great place for a family vacation!

Comfortable, secluded, quiet, dark at night, but close enough to restaurants and tourist attractions. Enjoyed our stay very much!

    Family Birthday Celebration

We needed a fairly centrally located place for family members to gather for my mom’s 90th birthday, and this turned out to be perfect. We loved the fireplace, the porch, large dining area, etc. We were especially glad for the extra 1/2 bathrooms on both floors and ample parking.
