Great location, terrible maintenance

Hotel looked like it had a cool old fashioned vibe but turns out it was just old. Didn’t seem very well maintained. Elevator was squeaky and could be heard from down the hall. Room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. There was a condom wrapper under the bed. Location is fantastic though. Just a block from pike place and a few from the water front.

Blood on our sheets

Our stay was okay. The hotel is a bit outdated and feels old. When walking into the room for the first time there was an odd smell. Then the first night I had trouble with the water pressure. It varies throughout the shower. Then the second night we noticed dried blood on our white comforter. That night my wife could not sleep even after we got a fresh comforter from the front desk attendant. That ruined the rest of our three night stay in Seattle due to bad sleep and anxiety throughout the rest of the stay.

Poitives outweigh the negatives

This was my second time at the hotel. It is a great location. The bar and restaurant attached are great as well. The decor is fabulous. A few negatives - The windows need to be upgraded. It is a VERY busy street and the windows are single pane and you can hear everything. The bed was not comfortable but I was so tired, it didn't matter. I requested an ironing board and it took over an hour to get it. But please know I would stay there again for all the positives outweighed the negatives.
