Perkins Inn, Boston

Staff was very friendly and breakfasts were great. The room was large and comfortable though there were a few cracks in the walls, etc.

Very convenient, great hospitality. Great experience overall. Something out of the control of our host was the parking situation. Because of being Wednesday, I could not park in the street from 8-12 am and there weren’t open parking spots in the back. That had me a little concerned overnight as I was not familiar with the area. In the morning everything was readily solved though.

I didn’t read their website thoroughly enough and was disappointed that we didn’t have a private bathroom.

The bed and breakfast was pretty. However, other than your bedroom, there was nowhere to relax, as they had turned the living room into an additional bedroom. The inn also did not have televisions. There were quite a few people staying in the b&b and at times it was difficult to get into the bathroom and somewhat noisy. Our bedroom had a sink so we were able to do some toiletry in our room. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Our room was painted a dark green and even with the lights on it was a rather dark room. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Beds were too soft for us. Arron was great and a terrific cook. Location was a bit too far from downtown Boston
