Everything is a walking distance. There are two (2) 7 Elevens literally a few feet away, 2 Starbucks coffee places just across the streets. There is pastry/coffee place inside the hotel and a Spanish-themed restaurant (Tiabuela) that is open until 12 midnight and a 24/7 food delivery service called ‘Filling Station Bar/Cafe”, with great menus available in every room (cash & G cash only). There is a huge shopping mall 5 minutes walk on Kalayaan Avenue from the hotel. There is also live music starting on Thursday to entertain the guests while eating dinner or just hanging around in the lobby. The area is safe and the nighttime beats are exciting. A lot of things for adventure and places to eat/drink/play just around the hotel. I noticed right away are that the elevators & the hallways aren’t air-conditioned. The best things are that the hotel is very affordable and the staff is amazing. Highly recommended hotel in the Makati area of Metro Manila.

MANILA APRIL 2023
Nice hotel in an excellent location and staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little basic compared to other local hotels at a similar cost. My one gripe is the perennial problem you almost always encounter in hotels in Manila. When you check out the reception staff want you to wait while housekeeping check the room to make sure nothing is missing. At busy times this means waiting 15 minutes which can adversely affect your schedule especially if you are trying to get to the airport. Secondly the inference is you are someone who would take towels or cups of similar and I really do not like being treated like that after giving a hotel my money. I travel all over the world and I cannot think of another country that does the same. On this occasion there was a hand towel missing which was missing because the maid did not replace is because her trolley was short of towels but then the reception staff ask me to account for the missing towel like I have stolen it. Every time I try to explain that I have no need to steal towels or cups but every time we have to go through this time wasting exercise which always ends up with me never staying in that hotel again.
