Closeness to Sao Bento train station is a plus. Many eateries nearby within walking distance which is convenient. The breakfast is worth it for Euro10. Room is small for the price charged and the lighting could have been brighter. There is no place to hang the bath towels as the knobs on the outside of the bathroom door have fallen off and nothing was done even after it was brought to the attention of the staff on duty. Overall, the staff were helpful and pleasant.

Good location for tourists, in central Porto within walking distance of the major attractions. A bit difficult to access in a car, due to road construction, but handy indoor parking nearby. Very friendly staff, willing to help with restaurant recommendations and directions.

Great hotel
Lovely hotel, great location. On arrival the lady on reception gave us a warm welcome and asked if we wanted we wanted to know a bit more about the city, So she explained using a map all the places to go, it was so helpful. Our room was nice and clean and the bed very comfy. All the staff were great.

Good location, tough otherwise
Upside: the location is great, very central and easy to get to everything, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast is great - lots of choices and seemed like good value. Very clean. Downside: the industrial styling makes the common spaces very dark. The darkness combined with mirrors everywhere is very disorienting. The layout and styling of the room is awkward and impractical. Modern and sleek, but no shelves to store anything! Lack of storage and awkward layout makes the room seem much smaller than it actually is. Really tough for more than a one night stay. Overall, for us the negatives outweighed the positives.
