    It's worth the drive a few miles away from here

    We booked a single overnight room for our return trip home from our Florida Vacation. The room wasn't ready (this was almost 11pm). The staff were arguing with one another at the counter as to whose fault it was (Even dropping F-Bombs). Then they said there was a damaged door in the room. They attempted to put us in a smaller room (2 adults and 3 kiddos), however, we get to the room and there is already a guest in the room. We waited around for another hour and told them we would leave if they couldn't get us a room. Well after midnight they finally put us in a smaller room and gave us a roll away bed for one of our kids (They were still cleaning it as we walked into the room!). I will give kudos to the manager who was there at midnight cleaning rooms. He was a new manager and even said he'd never managed a hotel that was so poorly run. We requested a discount and couldn't get one. Instead, he said he would give us additional Hilton Rewards Points. That has yet to happen either.

    Cold room & hot breakfast perfect for hot mama's

    It was a short stay for us as we arrived late and left early the next morning. However, definitely worth the money as it cost a bit more than other local hotels. The supportive mattress was exactly what we needed after driving for 17 hours that day. And being the hot mama's we are, the room was nice & cold, the bedding like a weighted blanket, so this instantly put us all to sleep. Coffee was great, free breakfast typical for a hotel, hot southwest omelet with sausage links or turkey patties. My only negative comment would be that it was not noted I had called to inform the hotel we'd be arriving late that night. The guy that I talked with that afternoon said no problem, there is always somebody available for 24hr check-in. When we finally arrived close to midnight, the gal at the front desk had just tried to reach me to see if we were going to still stay at the hotel. I'm not sure if they were going to give away the room, or what. Lesson learned, always request they note it on your room any communication regarding late arrival, and maybe call more than one time on date of arrival.

    Nice hotel but they could step up their cleanliness just a notch. Our room looked as if it hadn’t been swept or vacuumed. Noticeable dirt/crumbs throughout entryway and bathroom, even found half a bag of crackers spilled behind the headboard.

    Pay to plunge and clean your bathroom.

    No maintenance or maid service on Saturday. The toilet became clogged, front end staff handed me a plunger, mop, and bucket so I could take care of the issue. Seemed like their management could care less about the customers. No follow up at all from management.

    Disappointing

    There were dirty socks in my room. The front desk acted as if they didn’t want us there. Check out was at 12. My mom was in her bed when housekeeping entered the room at 11am!! Completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I could accept everything else, but not them walking into a room while my mom still occupied it. DURING OUR STAY HOURS.

    Bad customer service

    The cleanliness of the hotel was not the problem it was the customer service. We were told by the manager that a pack-n-play for my infant would be sent to our room. Because of this we did not bring one from home. The pack-n-play was never brought up and when I went get one the night shift told me they were out. Then we were told they had a roll away(which they did not). Needless to say they need to work on their customer service.
