The hotel is in a brilliant location at the heart of Goathland. It was very easy to walk around from the hotel. The room (4-poster superior) was bigger than expected and had a lovely view out of the front of the hotel. The food was brilliant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Definitely will be stopping there again soon.

A very warm welcome by all the staff who are all friendly and attentive. There are strict measures in place for the guests safety but they do not cause inconvenience and are easy to follow. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food is delicious and very plentiful. The chocolate sundae is scrummy. The bar is well stocked and very spacious. An excellent few days stay at a difficult time. Thank you.

Pleasant place with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and close to the railway. Food was good although evening menu a bit limited - classic pub food really and the Brie in breadcrumbs was fab, as was the beer battered haddock and chips! A little bit tired but overall a very pleasant stay.

This was a 70th birthday present for my husband so he could attend the annual steam event. Unfortunately that was cancelled but he chose to still go. He was very impressed with the Inn on the Moor. He felt very well looked after and felt the system they had in place to protect residents and staff was faultless. He's really pleased he still went.

It was lovely to come across a family business where you could see its members all working together to retain a local highlight amongst community members. Lovely surroundings and service. My wife and i stayed here for a long weekend and loved everything about it. The staff are so friendly and polite even during these covid times nothing was too much. The food and drinks selction was very good and of excellent quality. Would definitely recomend staying here... The only down side we would say, was the bathroom in our room (6)was a little tired, but the inn on the moor welcome booklet noted this, so as new owners are already planning on future renovations .
