Cool stay in heart of Chinatown
Funky place in the heart of Chinatown. Stayed in a "loft" unit. While one of the bigger units, you would spend most time up stairs since there was just a landing and the washroom below. Washroom did not have shower curtain so expect everything to get wet but the room dries fast due to the SG heat. Bed is basically a futon but after a day sight seeing it serves it purpose and its pretty comfortable with 4 pillows. AC works fine but other guest complained theirs was leaking. Door lock didnt work so staff had to swipe their key for access and they didnt seem to mind. Offered to change rooms but other room was a bit small. Offers breakfast buffet that changed selections daily. Large central bar/restro was under used and empty after the free bkfst, good potential to advertise that area more. Lots of backpackers used this place and it was pretty quiet overall.

Would stay again
The rooms a super tiny ,but still comfortable and clean ... I was a little confused for shower as it didn’t really existed, well you have to take the shower while you sitting on the restroom lol but I still liked the aria and the hotel

worse than a prison cell
The worse place I’ve ever stayed . Pokey is being kind. Your basically in a small box with a mattress on the floor . There are no mattress covers just the sheet and theatres on the floor . To shower even if your tiny you basically have to sit on the toilet . This place actually ruined my trip , the noise is horrendous really load music until 3am from the bar opposite , the staff have evidently been trained to say I appreciate your complaints and sorry . They didn’t appear to change the sheets when cleaning the room . I would advise staying away from here . The only positive is the breakfast is ok and the waiter serving it , is a nice and helpful man apart from that this place was the absolute pits . They also wouldn’t refund me when I complained . There excuse is , this is Singapore . Therefore you can sleep in a room actually smaller and with worse amenities than a prison cell

Tiny, tired accommodation in vibrant Chinatown
A uniquely tiny, poorly maintained pod sized room. Premium priced room location with window facing street exposed the space to two open air bar/clubs with amplified music until 12 or 1am during my four night stay. Hotel location is excellent on vibrant Chinatown street but consequently excessively noisy. The hotel name suggests a heritage building ambience but little charm remains.

Beware of rooms without windows !
Central location and close to lots of eating places. When we booked the room there was no warning that the room had no windows. Bathroom design is flawed as the whole bathroom gets wet after a shower which leaves the whole bathroom floor wet when you need to use other bathroom amenities. Room was very small for a double and we hardly had room to open our suitcases. Too expensive for what it is. I understand there are better rooms but the one we were in was not good. The bed is also very hard but that's probably true of most beds in hotels in Asia.
