    Exceptional 10.0
Was an amazing stay. I had booked for the courtyard but we upgraded to the tower for $50 more for the 2 nights. They showed us the room before even booking in which was nice. The courtyard was nice but the beds were a little small, I prefer a queen over a double. The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was very relaxing. Overall had a great vacation

    Nice hotel in good location
Clean room. Hotel has nice swimming pool and whirl pool. Safe underground parking. walking distance to many attractions. Helpful staff.

Staff was really nice and it was a quiet area plus you are really close to everything within walking distance. There was a lack of channels on tv to I would recommend to bring to bring your laptop with you to watch Netflix. The bed was hard to sleep on. There was no iron in the room. We also noticed the taps in the washroom were backwords but not a big deal. We went to look at the pool and it looks really outdated and the color of the pool looked more green than blue so we did not go on it.

    A little bit meh
Hotel is a bit dated. It centrally located and within walking distance of all attractions. Parking was available on site and a reasonable price. Rating it not so great on Cleanliness due to really smelly socks left behind in a dresser drawer by previous occupant...then we found underwear on the shelf in the closet. Ew. Check-in time was at 4 pm...we had to wait an additional 45 minutes for the room to be cleaned. Allegedly. Then we were forgotten and had to remind the desk clerk we were waiting before finally getting our room key. Only other comment is about the general area. If your room faces Victoria Street it's quite loud. But then again you can see the ferris wheel and fireworks.

Beware “Room is accessed via exterior corridors”
First the good: very close to Clifton Hill (which is the kids’ biggest priority). Parking is $15 a day which is reasonable for the area. Room was clean with the exception of the carpet. Now the less than good: the first room we were given on the ground floor of the “inn” portion of the property (read “motel”) smelled badly of smoke. I asked if we could be in the hotel section, but that required an upgrade in price. I asked for a ground floor room that had parking right outside instead of having to use the underground, but was told these parking spaces and rooms were reserved for vehicles over 6’ tall that could not fit in the underground. In point of fact over our 3 days, there were Mazda 3’s, a couple of Hondas and a Mercedes sedan parked in these spaces, just to name a few. We were moved to a room on the second level of the motel. This area is not accessible with the luggage cart, so we lugged suitcases, food boxes, pool stuff, etc. out of the elevator and across an open area covered in patio stones that wobbled as we crossed. At our room I could not get the door to open - couldn’t get a green light. Back to the lobby. Still would not work so they sent a maintenance man who managed to get a green light and then kicked the door open! This was the protocol for the next 3 days - 2 to 6 swipes to get a green light, then hoof the door to get it opened. Bottom sheet on beds was a flat, barely hung down over the mattress on both sides and came undone each night.
