Very Good
We stayed for 4 nights at Staypineapple. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and blankets were very plush. There's also Staypineapple's version of Siri in the rooms, 'OK Pineapple' which made it really easy to check the weather, order ice to the room, ask questions, etc. We were a 15 minute walk or 1 subway ride away from everything we wanted to do, location is excellent. The service was great, very friendly staff. The room is very very small, basically just a bed, a TV and a bathroom. We're from Toronto ON, so we're used to tight living spaces anyways, but the 'pod' style room isn't for everyone... The hotel was perfect for us, when we travel for vacations we get up in the morning and leave for 10-12 hrs, and then come back to shower and crawl into bed and this hotel is very conducive to that type of traveller. If you say to yourself, "all I need is a shower and a good night's sleep" you'll be very comfy here... Overall would stay for 4 nights again. cons: I only rated the amenities as OK. There was no fridge in the room, and no full body mirror. Our window didn't open properly, and we did ask to have it fixed but it was never fixed during our stay. The shower door in our room didn't close properly, so we had to lay down a towel when we showered.

Loved the decor and nice welcoming touches, staff was very welcoming and friendly. And most important of all the bed was super comfy! Would definitely stay here again!

Great boutique hotel: Exceeded our expectations!
StayPineapple was a brand we had not heard of before but decided to try it out as the price was very competitive with the other hotels in the area. This is a relatively new hotel and you can tell because it is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are small, but with the real estate StayPineapple is working with you should expect anything large. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Great tv in the room as well, plus cute decor. I would highly recommend this place to anybody coming to new york for the first time. We were a couple and it was very good for our needs of being comfortable and close to everything new york has to offer. We would stay here again and are considering it for a future california trip as well.

Enjoyed the decor, good location & friendly staff. Rooms are slightly small but everything that you could need in a hotel room is available. They've definitely utilised every bit of space. Free coffee/tea & bottled water in the rooms at all times is definitely a plus, especially when everything else is extremely expensive in the city.
