Nice clean hotel with a full kitchen in downtown Chicago

I have stayed at this location on at least 5 occasions. Each time I have stayed there it has been a pleasant experience. This time was a disgrace. We had pubic hair in our shower. Liquor bottle broken on sidewalk and beer cans on the driveway. The clientele was definitely a concern. There were at least 6 semi trucks at hotel and during the entire stay there were women entering the premises. One guest kept their door ajar day and night. We saw women sitting in the lobby (young, sexily clad), one woman was found hanging around my car. When I approached her she went to the back of the hotel and stood where the semi trucks were parked. One man entered the hotel with a young sexily clad girl. They entered his room together. I worked for law enforcement for 37 years and I know when something is not right. I realize each hotel is privately owned, but they are still within your franchise. I spoke with a desk clerk and she simply stated "we can't decline customers". She also stated the girl who was hanging around my car was a guest and was having a birthday party. Upon departure on Sunday I spoke with the day manager who said they had no complaints. I advised her of the condition of my room. Complete indifference. Looking at reviews since being there I noticed dirty rooms, broken door locks, and bed bugs in the room. I always considered your corporation to provide clean, comfortable surroundings. This is your reputation we are talking about. I won't be back.

Pool was out of order. I requested a non smoking. When i walked in all i could smell was smoke. I got well its from the other rooms that smoke. wasnt moved. Was told breakfast was 7a-10a first day no drinks whatsoever when i inquired i got attitude. then no breakfast the next 2 days i stayed ..very disappointed. Asked for manager was.told call Monday

Awesome stay, pleasant staff, and very nice property. I will definitely stay here again.

First hotel we’ve been through during COVID that didn’t use this as a reason to slack and provide mediocre service. The bedding was great and not minimal like at some hotels and we got plenty of towels and even hot breakfast. Loved it, so we stayed there again on our way back home.

My room wasn’t as clean as some people raved about but it was good. I definitely did some cleaning up and wiping down of the bathroom and shower in particular when I arrived and checked in. Mattress was a little hard. But everything was good for my two night stay :) all of the staff was very friendly :)
