What a beautiful place. We stayed 9 nights and gad the most amazing view. The infinity pool was perfect on a hot day when yiu want to have time away from the busy beach. So close to the town centre but far enough to not hear the noise at night. Only things that would have made it a more enjoyable stay would be a more comfortable mattress, a microwave and a toaster :) Thanks for having us! We will stay again whe visiting Sayulita.

Great location! They claim the rooms are sound proof but they are definitely not! It also would of been nice if a toaster was supplied.

The hot water barely worked. The walls are paper thin so if you have a loud talker like we did, good luck sleeping in. There was next to no privacy on the balcony because the neighbors can look into our place. You share a balcony with 2 other rooms. It's separated with planters with half dead plants. For that reason, we couldn't fully enjoy the bathtub when our neighbors were also on the balcony. V awkward sitting in a bathtub with your neighbor just on the other side of a planter. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it here. Too expensive for the quality.

The property inside and out was well taken care of, very clean. The staff was friendly - didn't speak much English. The beds are very firm. Didn't really get a good night's sleep. Also, you can hear other hotel guests flushing their toilets and in the hallways and stairs it can get very loud especially at 2am. There didn't seem to be, that we knew of, a manager on site at night so there was nothing done about loud people. We thought about saying something but we didn't know where the noise was coming from. In the pictures online, it seemed all the rooms had wall decorations, ours did not, giving it a cold and empty feeling. Also, when I was looking to booking I found no info on what was included in the "kitchen utensils", I'm just giving a rundown, there was no microwave - which would have been convenient. You get a coffee machine, mini fridge, stove top, 1 pan, 1 pot, 1 spatula, plates, bowls, forks, knives, and spoons. Beware that some of the house cleaners do not wash your dishes. I didn't know that they did that and thought what a nice thing until I realized they weren't actually clean. There is no privacy between balconies either. They have a nice idea for a partition between them - live plants - unfortunately ours were dead. All in all it is a nice hotel and the staff were nice and welcoming. I would recommend it.

    Quiet Romantic Retreat!

My husband and I spent 3 days at Hotel Ysuri November 8-11th 2019. We were greeted by Rodrigo at the front desk an he was so friendly and very helpful with suggestions on places to eat. They helped us with our bags to and from our room. We were hoping for a few days of pure relaxation and that is what we had here. The hotel was not too busy when we stayed so it was perfect! We had the pool to ourselves at moments. The rooms were very large with a beautiful view of the ocean and large patio with a jacuzzi tub! It was fantastic! We had a King size bed and a sofa couch that was large enough for us both to take a nap on. We were surprised to find a two burner flat top in the room along with kitchen utencils if we were open to making our own meals. The room was very quiet and equipped with a safe for your personal items. The hotel was on the far left side of the beach if you are looking at the water with a beautiful view. It was in a quiet location. Sayulita had such a warm safe cozy feel and we look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful new hotel, not quite finished

The hotel is new and fits beautifully into the landscape. It’s in a perfect location between the town and the lovely Playa los Muertos. There are lots of stairs to get to the top three levels so it’s not accessible for all. Sayulita is working on its water treatment system which is so important for the health of all travellers and residents. If I return to Sayulita I’ll go back to Hotel Ysuri.

    Great room, lacks consistency

The room we had was very large, clean and nice. We did have some lizards and large bugs in the room, but I assume it is very difficult to eliminate all critters from entering your room. The reception and cleaning staff were also nice. Our issue with this the inconsistency we faced with the small “cafe” and the massages the hotel arranged for us. We asked to have massages which were quoted to us at $65 per person. They charged us $110 per person, almost double. We were shocked but didn’t want to argue. Also the cafe was inconsistent about its hours (it somehow was always closed when they said it would be open). When we were able to get drinks, we were always charged a different amount for the same drink. At one point it was $12 for a very sad pina colada. Overall this is a great place to stay if you only want a room and not much else.

Padrisimo todo! La gente del lugar es súper amigable y servicial! Doña Mary es la mejor haciendo comida en el lugar! Rodrigo y Gustavo están en el lobby y son los mejores ayudándo en hacer reservas externas al hotel.
