I would love to have given this hotel a great rating, however, I simply can’t. I can most appreciate that the hotel is new but the cleaning service was far from acceptable. We were given 2 sets of towels to begin with. We requested another set of towels the next day but never received them. We had to use our bath towels to wash our face. We called for towels and were told we would get them but after 4 hours I had to go downstairs to request them. I still didn’t receive them at that time. We were told because the hotel was at capacity they didn’t have enough towels. Each day was a struggle to get new towels and the trash emptied. We sat the trash cans out and when they were finally emptied, only one side was emptied. There was also a lot of purple hair left on the side that was emptied which let me know the hair was already in the trash can and we didn’t see it because it was located under the desk. I reported this when I had to go downstairs to follow up on towels. The one day I requested the room to be cleaned, it never was. The woman that cleaned rooms clearly didn’t like her job. Each morning she came through rooms, very early, and opened each door loudly by allowing them to slam up against the door latch, which kept doors propped. If this hotel had better cleaning staff, it would be much better.
