Plenty of better places to stay
CHECK IN: The gentleman behind the desk watched me struggle with my bags and opening the door, no offer to help even though no one else was in the lobby. He answered a facetime while I was standing there waiting for my keys. Shortly after check in the hotel called and said they were overbooked and I would have to move to another hotel - ??!! - I told them I was already settled in my room, this seemed to disappoint them. AMENITIES: So weird to have a washer in the room but no dryer. I was only given decaf coffee. Two conditioners, no shampoo. No bedside lamp, just overhead lights. At breakfast there were no cups for coffee. Found plastic solo cups that were dirty. No fruit, no eggs, just pastries, cereal, and yogurt - you cannot call this nutrition. VIBE: It had no character, and was noisy by the street.

Improvement needed for your hotel
It's a cozy room which should fit well with a couple or small families, but I was solo for a weekend so couldn't make use of all (kitchen, washing machine, etc). Very convenient location and I like the old building upfront but too bad there was no introduction of it. I may go back if below is improved: 1. Service not available: Only one person at front desk, and he/she was either busy with checking-in/out or not at the desk. 2. Housingkeeping by request: I think it makes better sense if NO-housekeeping by request. 3. Short of amenities: I only got one small bar soap for handwashing, one sachet of shampoo, and two bottles of conditioner. Shampoo is definitely not enough and no shower gel at all. I was trying to get them from the front desk but there was a long line waiting for the lady so I decided to buy from the CVS store across from the circle. 4. Continental breakfast was only available for day 1. No breakfast available for day 2 & 3 due to supplier issue or party held the previous night (so I heard). I saw some of the guests angry or talking about it sour.
