For those after a peaceful destination, the cozy city of Socorro is an excellent choice. How to get to New Mexico
For travel in New Mexico, coming from the north drive down Interstate 25 from Denver right into the heart of New Mexico. If you’re traveling from the east, take Interstate 40 west from Oklahoma City, past Amarillo, Texas, and into New Mexico. From other parts of Texas, Interstate 20 runs from Dallas, through Fort Worth, and up into New Mexico. From Arizona, head east on Interstate 40 from Phoenix, or take Interstate 10 from Tucson. New Mexico is also well-served by bus services throughout the state, while Albuquerque International Sunport airport offers flights to numerous destinations across the U.S.
