Fantastic Fifty year friendship celebration in Flo

My girlfriends and i have been close friends for over 50 years thru all of lifes ups and downs. Two of us from 7th grade Latin class, the other since sophmore year in college. We represent a physician, a Judge and a court stenographer. We had the most relaxing and wonderful stay and felt refreshed. It was a deserving trip for a lifetime of friendship. We will do it again in 2027!

Treated like. Nuisance, Not a Guest!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. The valet staff swarmed our vehicle aggressively, refusing to let me stop in front to check in. Their pushy behavior felt more like pressure than hospitality. While the restaurant’s food was excellent, the service ruined the experience. Our waiter was impatient, forgetful, and unprofessional. After several reminders about missing condiments, he returned, slammed them on the table, and said, “I know y’all like the food,” before walking away. Completely unacceptable behavior. I shared this with the restaurant’s GM, who laughed and dismissed my concern, saying it didn’t sound like something his staff would do. No apology. No accountability. To top it off, there was a dirty hair tie left behind in the room, raising serious questions about cleanliness and attention to detail. This resort markets itself as upscale, but my experience said otherwise. Poor service, a lack of professionalism, and dismissive management make it hard to recommend.

Location, Location, Needs Work!

Staff is attentive and competent - 5 stars! Building is located in a beautiful location - 5 stars! Building is older and needs to be maintained better. Hall area carpets and hard floors need to be cleaned daily. Doesn't look like they are. Rooms may have been updated recently, but they are not quality upgrades. $900 per night for a tub/shower combo with a "difficult to keep shut" shower curtain from leaking and a psychotic auto light in the bathroom that seems to come on when it wants to, is a bit excessive. Paying this much should get meticulously maintained and clean accomodations. To reiterate, staff is amazing, friendly, competent, etc. Management/ownership appears to be resting on the views and location while taking in your money. Renovations already showing wear/tear. Would stay again, but will review other options before auto booking here.

A gem on the beach

This hotel is a gem right on the ocean front. We were visiting for a wedding and wanted to stay on the beach and this boutique hotel was perfect. The hotel restaurant and bar were quite good and the hotel is a nice size (not too big) with nice amenities and recently refurbished. It even smells good when you walk in! I highly recommend.

Super expensive, service not up to par

Couldn’t get an early check in. Went to bar and said they’d notify me when room was ready. No one did and then they couldn’t find my reservation after taking my CC. Couldn’t get a 12 from an 11am late checkout. As a person who lives in Florida and comes to the east coast often. This hotel was recommended. Also room would not get cool at all. Slept with slider open.

Excellent hotel for families

it was an amazing stay! Perfect hotel for families. Safe and accessible. Restaurant was understaffed when we went, which was the only downside. Food was excellent!
