Good location but property needs a lot of updating and it wasn’t very clean. Our room lacked blankets, hair dryer and refrigerator. Twice in two days our room cards quit working.

Brocken heater
The heater thermostat in the room was non functional and it was either ice cold or like a sauna. We were already in bed when this became an issue. Neither my wife or I got much sleep turning the heater on and off Al night. We were miserable. Expected a call re reducing what we paid but no response from the hotel

This must be a very old property. Overall the entire building needs remodeling/upgrade. Walls, carpeting in very poor condition. Upon arrival the automatic door was inoperable and you had to slide it open by hand. Difficult to do when carrying your bags. However, personnel was helpful and courteous.

I didn’t even stay. I gave them a credit card for security but wanted to pay the bill in cash. They wouldn’t let me, so I had to go find a hotel that would. Canadian credit cards charge outrageous fees and exchange rates when using them for payment in the States. They didn’t care. Terrible customer service

Music dumping while I’m trying to sleep
I checked in October 23, 2024 I checked in about one or 2 o’clock. I was in room 120 and I’ve noticed the people in 118 had their music kinda with a upbeat sound from all the way till 7:00 PM Ivan asked the manager Five times or six times about it and then finally he moved up to a different room on the third floor in room 303 at around 7 o’clock or 630 and he said he walked around to see if he could hear anything but I don’t think he did and he was telling me it was from the van cross the street from the college that wasn’t it that was playing right music And I constantly told him about it and he told me that he thinks he know who it is, but he waited almost all day to move me up to a different room. That’s kinda like my place to stay when I go to Las Cruces, New Mexico, but to be treated like that, I was fixing to ask for my refund
