What a gem! We were looking for a place to stay on the Isle of Wight and could not be more pleased for choosing Rylstone Manor. The proprietors, Carole and Mike, were gracious and welcoming offering many suggestions what to do, see and eat during our short two night, three day visit. The Manor is stunning and lovingly maintained. We highly recommend Rylstone Manor and only wish we could have stayed longer.
I highly recommend this fabulous, grade 2 listed hotel. All the rooms are finished to an extremely high standard. Mike and Carol, the owners are wonderful and made my stay a dream! Anyone can clearly see that they both have justified pride in this truly beautiful building. I was extremely thankful to find this outstanding gem and highly recommend that any visitor to the Isle of White should make this their first choice! When you get there ask Carol about the Badgers - itâs a joy to watch them feed each eveningâŠ.Thank you both!!
Attractive property, set in a quiet location convenient as a base to explore the island. Parking was a bonus.
Location felt safe walking back late evening.
Extremely friendly owners and staff member, knowledgeable of surrroundings and very humours. Beautiful building and grounds with red squirrels, badgers and birds outside the window
This is a beautiful house with great hosts who are very friendly and provide a good breakfast it is well situated to walk into Old Shanklin at night for a meal (lots of choices). The room was spacious and well served however the bathroom was TINY and very challenging particularly the bath which we had requested due to personal ailments preference to a shower and basin which had an Awful Iâll fitting glass shelf above it which we both crashed into!! and my husband found the toilet seat did not stay up. The one small bottle of water was not replenished the second night âčïž And I know this is personal preference but the bed was very hard
