Great Barcelona Location and Friendly Staff
I've stayed here 3 different times and it's always been a great experience. The staff is very welcoming and speak great English. The location is great and very walkable to the entire gothic quarter. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel is SUPERB - the staff without exception were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The locale has many, many interesting side streets and shops - and located immediately in front of the Cathedral. Exceptional in every way!

The service and location were great. The front desk was always helpful and offered great recommendations. The room and products were okay, nothing special, though the nespresso machine was a nice touch. At night the rooms appeared pretty quiet (except for the church bells on the hour, but they did not wake us up once we were asleep) and pillows were comfortable. If breakfast is included in your room price then do the breakfast. DO NOT pay the 22 euros (plus tax so closer to 40euros per person) for the breakfast. Absolutely not worth more than 5-10 euros a person

What a location!!!
What an amazing location! and to have the view of the cathedral from our room, that was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We even got a complimentary ride to the airport which we didn't expect. The hotel is being updated but you can't beat the location and the staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, stunning view of the Cathedral
We loved this boutique hotel. They had just changed their name from Hotel Colon to Lamaro days before. Rooms were spacious and very comfy. We loved the light color scale if everything, and the view of the Cathedral is worth staying here. Our only complain was that the heat stayed on, but they brought us a fan straight away so we slept great!
