Don't stay unless you bring your own heater

It was clean. Just no heat. Had to get a space heater from the front after I complained. The man had no emotion.

Not favorable

This hotel was so extremely hot. We couldn’t even sleep at night. There was an adjoining room next to ours that had 7 construction workers sleeping in it each night. They were so noisy each night and we could basically hear every word they spoke. Had the room temperature been acceptable we wouldn’t have been able to eat due to the sheer volume of them. We will not be staying here again.

Barking dog and poor breakfast

Very small parking area that was full. It’s a long climb up stairs to second floor and girlfriend was unhappy with the lighting. Room was just ok but the hard laminate floor was appreciated. Breakfast is completely forgettable. They might as well end it. Worst part was housekeeper kept bothering us to leave and even let herself in without knocking. Front desk called as we were already packing the car so obviously we felt somewhat harassed to leave. I imagine extra charges for late checkout could be an issue. Our next door neighbors let their dog bark at 5am for which we will request a discount. Ridiculous behavior that’s tolerated by management too often.

Budget friendly, spacious and clean!

This is a budget friendly hotel that perfectly suited what our family needed. Although the hotel is dated, it's in decent working condition and was clean. We got the suite room that fits 6 people, and we were delighted with the size of the room and floor space in there. It's very rare to have a room that sleeps 6, and still has space to walk around the beds! I will say, though that the couch bed that was advertised to have 2 people sleep on it was quite narrow - I think it was a full size mattress - if that. My teen boys are big and like a little more space, so one of my kids just slept on the floor rather that squeezing onto the couch bed. It wasn't a problem for us because my son doesn't like sharing a bed anyway, so we came prepared with a pad for him to sleep on the floor - and luckily there was tons of floor space. Buuut...if you are a family of 6, just be aware that it's going to be a squeeze on that couch bed. The owner (manager?) of the hotel who was there when we checked in was super friendly and accommodated our needs. Overall, we were happy with our stay there and will definitely stay there again on our future trips to Durango!

The rooms were good sized and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast did not have a very big selection and most options were dry goods. The hot tub was a plus. Overall an average room for the price.

Staff were nice and room was ok but cold. First night we thought we had the thermostat too low but the room never got above the mid 60s. Our daughter ended up wearing her ski coat to bed.
