TERRIBLE
Absolutely horrible! Trash everywhere, room lock didn’t work, holes in the doors and walls, duck tape to connect the carpet to vinyl. Pool was swamp green, with parts of it coming up. Bathroom had parts of the wall coming apart, mirrors dirty, sheets and comforter had stains on them. No outlet covers, smelled absolutely terrible. Bathroom toilet wasn’t connected to the floor and moved. No towels or anything in bathrooms. Absolutely TERRIBLE!!

Just keep looking.
Paid over 100 for what should have cost maybe 50/60. Called and asked about amenities and they mention pool and all others. Pool was closed and that’s why I booked here to help burn some of my kids energy. Didn’t look like it had been open in a while per the green on it. Checked the bed for bugs, didn’t find any however I did find a fork and chips and a sock between the mattresses along with fries between the bed and the ac unit. Bed covers were horribly stained. Now I don’t expect a lot for $118 but I would hope it’s at least vacuumed. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. But if you have limited choices at least they didn’t have bugs. I do also feel this is a residential type hotel. People were walking the hall with baskets of laundry and things that made me feel that was more their temporary home.

Outside of hotel is well maintained. Our room smelled of pot and the bathroom smelled of mold. Sheet would not stay on bed, revealing stains on the mattress pad. The plug near the bathroom had an obvious burn mark. Cups were left without plastic covering, so not sure if it was used. Hair was all over the coffee packets

Got the job done.
This is one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in in a long time. It didn’t look like the floors had been swept, mopped, or vacuumed in weeks. The furniture was in bad shape, damaged, and threadbare. However, I wanted a cheap nights sleep, and that’s what I got. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked.

I only stayed overnight, but there were hints within the room that it may not have been well serviced by housekeeping. The coffee maker didn't have cups available and the ice bucket was missing the room. The guest agent was friendly enough, but if you are looking for a comfortable, sanitized sleeping experience, this is not your place.

Do not recommend!!
My husband, daughter, grandson and I stayed in this hotel, we checked in at 2 am, paid cash for the deposit and we checked out at 11 am and the receptionist insisted not to give back our deposit due to our room's (smell), which was complete crap!! When we entered our room, it smelled musty, there was dust everywhere, we took our shoes off and walked on the floor from the door to the beds and our socks were dirty in that short walk. We were exhausted from our drive from Destin FL, which was just shy of 12 hrs. At 2 am we just wanted to sleep, so we overlooked the minor infractions within the room and went to sleep. We were about 50 yards from the front desk, and in the minute it took us to get to the front desk, supposedly a maid went into the room and communicated with the desk our room was dirty and smelled. Must be within magician's for this news to travel within 2 minutes. This lead us to believe they KNEW the room's condition when they assigned it. When they refused to give us back the deposit, I walked back to our room with the receptionist & demanded to know what they smelled or why our room was "dirty". Needless to say, the receptionist had nothing to prove and holding us accountable for the dirty room and we got our full deposit back. We won't be back, and we do not recommend staying at this particular LaQuinta. The Laqunita's are always our go to hotels, but this one won't be. This is by far the worst hotel experience, and we felt unwanted, disrespected and dirty.

Cockroaches!!
upon arriving to this hotel, everything looked fine. When we got into the elevator, there was stains and food or drink. Drinks sprayed around the elevator. We then get to our hotel room and our curtain is ripped the TV stand is all delaminating like it sat in a pool of water, shower was full of mold. Woke up the next morning started brushing my teeth and a cockroach ran across the bathroom vanity. how to use Google on the thermostat because they had it set to Celsius, not Fahrenheit. floors are paper thin you can hear the people walking around above you all throughout the night terrible sleep this place makes any motel look like the Ritz. Avoid this place at costs
