We had a late check in at 11pm which we did notify the hotel about weeks in advance. Once reaching the property we were told there was no front desk worker , but the security guard helped us checked in ( She was lovely) however she did not give us the correct room she apologized but stated that since it isn’t really her job we would have to settle it with the front desk staff when they reach at 7 am . It seems strange that they don’t offer 24hr front desk service but okay. We tried the restaurant located in the hotel ; had an egg Benedict with egg which was hard boiled and stale bread. Reordered the creole breakfast, then came with a massive piece of plastic on top . They compt the meal but was still a horrifying experience. Being onLawrence gap was great lots of restaurant within walking distance . But sad to say will not be returning to this hotel. Bathroom soap was thin , our shower leaked to the door which appeared to be rotted at the bottom I’m guessing due to the repeated leaking. If you’re just looking for a place to crash and not really stay in the actual hotel it’s perfect . If you’re wanting a bit more comfort and costumer service would not reccomended. Would have been great in my early 20’s . Not now .
