Hotel located in a trendy neighbourhood (enjoyable walk from central station to the hotel). The room is small, but works well for one person, and conveniently designed. The breakfast buffet has a nice selection, and the products were good.
I however had some issues with the check-in. First they didn't find my reservation, because the booking system apparently didn't recognize the accents on my name (very common accents in Switzerland). Then she tried to make me pay for my reservation, even though I had already paid in advance on the online booking platform. The whole time, she also made me feel like I was an annoyance. She clearly wanted to be anywhere else but there (which I get, but if you work in customer service, try to fake it at least a little bit). Things were sorted out at the end, but the exchange left me feeling unwelcome.
