Safe, Clean and Comfortable.
The ocean view from our room in building 5, on the third floor was amazing! We liked being near the beach and the pool. The pool was clean and well kept. Our suite was clean and comfortable. One of the showers had an issue with the handle that controls the temperature. There was also not usable cutting board. Other than those two complaints, everything met or exceeded our needs. Check in was a little confusing. Check in is not on the same property as the suites. Also, when we lost a room key is was inconvenient to have to go for a drive to get a new one (but that was on us). The office is about a 3 minute drive from the suites, not too far. Just so you know what to expect: the ocean swimming at the beach on the grounds is a little mucky with lots of vegetation growing underfoot. It’s not sandy when you enter the water. The kids didn’t love it, but the pool was a great option. And there are other great beaches in the keys to visit- so no big loss there.

Great Pool and Very Nice Rooms
O.P. has a good location between Key Largo & Islamorada. Units and pool are excellent. Tennis and pickleball courts are in playable condition. Pool snack bar now open, very nice addition. Pier needs high chairs to be able to sit and watch the water, otherwise pier is not very useful and it could be a very nice place to watch the sunrise or even sunset.

Checking in is a long process. You can not check in before 5pm. Room was not ready until after 6pm because we were told it still needed to be cleaned. After finally arriving in the unit floors were still dirty. The unit seemed to be lightly swept, but floors were sticky and our white socks were black on the bottom after only a short time of walking on the floor. The grounds were nice and well kept but our unit needed a little TLC.

Very nice stay. Room was large with ample space for a family of six (2 adults, 4 kids). Great ocean view. Large heated pool with a nice little pool side bar with good Pina coladas. Resort felt very secure--though perhaps too secure? My brother and his girlfriend were staying somewhere else in Key Largo and it would have been nice to have them come sit by the pool with us while the kids swam, but I wasn't sure that they would be allowed on the property given the amount of security and entry gate on site.
