Great renovation
This is a beautiful hotel that is almost done a new renovation. It was a bit tricky finding it as it has a new name of ‘Spark’ by Hilton. The beds are very comfortable. Looking forward to staying there again in future travels.

Limited remodel possibilities.
Doing a nice job of remodeling, but one can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Slow 4 person elevators (1 with luggage) can't be made larger. Rooms with no power outlets can't (or won't) be rewired. Not a single Ice machine in the entire building.

The hotel was under construction! No mention of that online during reservation process. We refused to stay, there was such a mess. They said we would not be charged for the one night stay we had booked. I hope that, indeed, we will not be charged to our AMEX account.

Gonna be a diamond soon
This property is being renovated. Reconstruction people were busy doing their jobs. This is going to be a gem when they are done. Arrived and was immediately checked in. Got to the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only concern was that the toilet ring would not stay up. Nice night’s sleep. Breakfast was hot and enough. Would liked to have some fresh fruit for an option. Quick check out.

Hotel needs improvement
We stayed here because we lost power at the Air Bnb that we were staying at and this was the only thing that was available. The hotel was clearly undergoing a renovation (maybe it was on old Hilton property??) and it definitely showed. There was construction material everywhere and the staff were overwhelmed. Not all of the elevators worked and the only ice machine was on the main floor. I don't know if it is the location or the circumstances, but the hotel definitely attracted some weirdos, which was a bit uncomfortable. The room was nice enough but the TV remote did not work and the staff were unable to fix it, just giving new batteries instead (which did not work).

Hotel is under remodel and we were given no warning. Had to enter thru door where there were construction workers and no flooring and drywall dust and loud music playing … super awkward … also booked this hotel for the hot tub and since we had no warning about the remodel we didn’t know the hot tub would be out of service as well …. No hair drier in the room… shower nosel was broken …. Took forever for someone to come to the counter to check me out and they yelled from the back “I’m coming” when I had to ring the desk bell

Major renovations ongoing.
No where on Ashmore Inn website or Hotels.com did it mention that a major renovation was in process. Booked the hotel for the pool/hot tub indoors and found out when we checked in that pool/hot tub was unavailable. Desk clerk was not helpful at all. Also, the continental breakfast was less than impressive.

Full remodel going on.
I’m sure it will be decent once the remodel work is done but I thought it was abandoned for a second. My room was clean and ok. Really didn’t want to leave the room once I got in it. Not sure when their remodel will be done but it’s got potential when finished.
