By the time we arrived at ADO Tulum Terminal, I followed directions from Expedia through Google Maps, expecting a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Instead, we found an empty public space. Both the Expedia and Google Maps had the wrong address. We walked for over an hour with our luggage, asking for help, but the phone numbers provided were also incorrect. Finally, with assistance from locals, we reached the hotel close to midnight.
The hotel staff were unaware of the duplicate Google entries with incorrect addresses and phone numbers. They did not apologize or acknowledge the mistake. Additionally, the room was dirty, the bathroom was dark and damp, and the balcony was too dusty to use. One staff member we encountered was very unfriendly.
Overall, it was a highly disappointing experience.
