The location of the hotel is excellent. Cleaning was mediocre; the bathroom and surrounding area were clean, but the bed sheets were stained. They changed them, yet the new ones were also stained. The duvets had no covers; they were only wrapped with a sheet, meaning you directly touch the duvet while sleeping, and itâs not washed â youâre sharing a common duvet.
There was no heater in the room, only cooling.
The housekeeping staff were very polite, but the luggage storage attendant was the rudest and most unpleasant person Iâve ever encountered.
The Hilton brand should have offered better. It didnât meet my expectations.
The hotel itself is actually on the top floors of the Hilton Midtown. The property itself is great, location also great. Rooms fantastic and spacious. However...be advised that if you are in a rush, the elevators typically take 15 mins. There was a conference on and the meeting rooms were above the bedrooms which created chaos in the elevators for people wanting checkin or checkout. I waited 25 mins to get an elevator to the 37th floor to check in with very rude conference delegates not letting me into the elevator as I had a case. Come on Hilton...you can do better than this. At least have a dedicated lift for guests! Even the ladies on checkin said it's terrible!!!
I've stayed at this property before and if I do stay again it will defiantly not be in Hilton Club!
