Exactly what I needed

I was looking for an inexpensive, but decent, place to stay in Warwick for one night before a trail race in Wawayanda State Park. The Hamlet Inn was exactly what I needed. The rooms are small, the accommodations are basic, and the furnishings are a bit worn, but the room was clean and quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable.

No Chair to sit on, no coffeemaker, tiny trash can, no little table, no lamps, the only lighting is the overhead very bright lights. They never came to make the beds, clean the bathroom or empty the tiny trash can, and the room had ants. The only plus was the beds were comfortable.. Being short & handicapped I had a hard time climbing onto the bed. I stayed at this same Inn last year and found everything much different. I understand that this is not a major hotel with many amenities, but not having a place to sit and a coffee maker to have that morning cup of coffee is a bit much. Parking is so limited that when I arrived back after my event I had to walk from around the back of the building. The absolute worst is management. He was very unfriendly when checking in & nasty when I asked him at night about where I could park safely. It is an absolute shame what has happened to this place, when several years ago my husband and I used to stay here on multiple ocassions because we have relatives in Warwick. Always had coffee maker and in the am they had a continental breakfast waiting for you if you wanted. Needless to say I will never stay here again.

Not very clean

Quite dirty shower. We were tired and it was late to find another place to stay. People next door were being noisy late into night and early morning. I do not recommend unless its a last resort and dont care to have a dirty bathroom.

My First Time Was Great

Not only was it my first time staying at this hotel, it was also my first time visiting Warwick, NY. It was a short business trip, and the management of this hotel provided me with truly exceptional customer service. I had had a problem accessing the TV channels, and the manager replaced the cable box very quickly, in spite of constantly being called, on both the hotel and his smartphone, he took care of the problem much faster than expected.

Extremely "plain wrap" facility. No bed cover. Just blanket and sheets. No closets, old furnishings. Price was ok. Only motel in town so no choice or i would have stayed elsewhere.
