The stay was just fine. The person checking me in was nice and went out of her way to make sure everything was ok. I was disappointed that I was not able to use the EV charging station for my vehicle. I had to find another charging station in the city during the night.

Customer service was top notch!! Kudos to all of you that work so hard! My only complaint is the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly and the shower wouldn’t go fully between shower and bath. It was functional but not a lot of pressure as it was still flowing through bath spout. Otherwise we had a very comfortable stay and the kids enjoyed the pool even for its size.

Good hotel, Unfortunate area around it

The staff were all friendly. The breakfast was good (eggs, sausage, waffels, assorted pastries). Our room was clean and beds comfortable. The tv is in an akward location on the wall btw the beds and office area (suite room). One member of our party slept on the couch/bed and noted the mattress was ok. The traffic in the area is terrible in the morning. Both Forest Dr and Ashley Phosphate Rd are very congested. I26 into Charleston has a lot of stop and go traffic. Plan for extra time to make it to events. The area behind the hotel is not very appealing. One morning there was a dog that barked non stop and the next morning, there was a rooster crowing for 30min.

Excellent staff, service and rooms

While we were staying there was a high school baseball team and families there, then our sons college baseball team and staff arrived also, making for a very busy hotel. The staff handled it beautifully. They really had their A team ready. Breakfast was executed wonderfully, attentive and kind staff. Nothing was ever empty as they filled as fast as something was taken. Excellent choices for food and drinks daily. Hotel was recently renovated and fresh feeling when you walk in. Sofa bed is a deep sofa and a trundle with twin mattress which was nicer than a traditional pull out couch. Will stay again if we end up in the area
