I needed to stay nearby and was impressed by the ease of arrival, available parking, welcome from the staff, vastness of communal areas, class and quality of the dining area. I would have wished to expolore the parkland and next time I will use the spa facility.

Very comfortable and clean
I stay here whenever I'm in Oosterbeek. Very convenient for The Airborne Cemetery and Museum. The bus service into Oosterbeek and Arnhem is on the main road just outside the hotel. The hotel stands well back from the main road in woodlands. Parking is ample. The room was well prepared and clean. The bed was a little soft for me. The bath and shower are a combined unit and the bath surface was slippery. I was later advised by Reception that a bath mat was available and a note in the room to that effect would have been helpful. Apparently a refurbishment programme is planned to replace existing bath/ shower arrangements with a walk in shower. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner and the staff were very helpful throughout.

Oosterbeek is a beautiful town. This is a great base to explore the area. Airborne Museum is just down the road and Arnhem only a few miles away. Hotel is great and staff were superb.

Area was very scenic in the countryside. However, spoons and milk were taken from the room after cleaning and once told, the staff replaced these but then took the green tea away! There was also no shower gel at the hotel and despite asking for some, we were still left with only copious amounts of shampoo and conditioner in our hotel room. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and staff were very friendly.

Arnhem battlefield
I was giving a battle field tour on both Saturday and Sunday and had a lot of material. As a regular stayer with you over the last decade and as someone staying for 6 nights I was disappointed to have such a small lift and I couldn't open my suitcase without lifting it up on to the bed each time.
