Decoration traditionnal but bedrooms nice
Not really in the core downtown but not that's far.
better to ask a room backyard because the street is noisy.
I recommend to have a breakfast elsewhere
Friendly receptionists, found cockroaches in the bed and the pool hadnât been cleaned for a very long time, moss was growing on the tiles In the pool.
Front desk very friendly, room was ok but fount 2 cockroaches in the bed, also the pool hadnât been cleaned in weeks, there was moss growing on the tiles in the pool everywhere.
Half he hotel had building works. Pool dirty. No kitchen facilities , no dining area. Furniture stored everywhere around the pool etc. Old light fittings in our room. Staff pleasant but not expecting us.there was a chandelier in our wardrobe!! Old noisy air con on the balcony.
2 adjoining rooms were booked with my friend. On arrival, our Expedia booking confirmation was presented.
It took out travel agent, Expedia and ourselves to email the booking confirmation to 3 different email addresses approximately 15 times, multiple phone calls from Expedia and our travel agent to confirm that in fact the booking and payment had been made months ago.
The hotel staff came knocking on our doors late at night so the manager (via mobile phone) could demand we pursue Expedia for follow up. Meanwhile he was making threats to call the police on our travel agents Facebook profile.
The only nice thing I can say was that the lady at the front counter was sweet and friendly and doing her best in a difficult situation. Plus there was free wi-fi.
No kettle in the room, ants in my bed, a room looking out on to other room's windows as the interior rooms are in a very tight U configuration.
Thank goodness it was all sorted out on the last morning of our 2 night stay and we were able to leave uneventfully.
Please look elsewhere for your accomodation. There are plenty of choices, and most of them were closer to the city centre.
Walking into the lobby, I knew that I had made a great choice. Wood everywhere; wonderful and historical wall carvings throughout. Great carved furniture; owned by someone who cares about Cambodian history and loves art. Manager spoke excellent English, good knowledge of Battambang, and had experience working at a large hotel in Sihanoukville. 2 thumbs up !
Quite disappointed with this hotel. Location is not convenient, below average service, the hotel did not have an elevator, and A/C is not adequate for the room.
less than 1 km from harbour where the SiemReap boats land. Easy to find.
Large rooms, Wifi OK, personnel friendly.
No restaurant, and breakfast.
5-10 minutes walk from center.
100 meters from bus station to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap
The Hotel looks very posh and their rooms are very nice with many scriptures. The rooms are big and clean. Wifi not too stable. Breafast was omelette and a baguette which was not too bad to eat though.
Opposite is a bus station where you can take bus to other cities easily. The hotel is just a 15min walk from the waterfront.
My mom booked this hotel 2 yrs ago and it was great back then. The construction was still going on but it wasn't a problem for us. Now, they've cut everything back. no more in room coffee, fewer towels, and fewer toilet papers. We constantly had to ask for toilet paper. We ended up buying our own. The rooms felt it was running down. It was dark. The bathroom always had this urine odor. The shower stall was small. This is coming from an asian person. For the price, it's not a bad deal but the overall care of the building could be improve so in the long run the hotel doesn't look and feel run down. The staff was quick to answer to our call and helpful. That was a plus for us. They have parking lot in the back with a security staff. Overall, it's not a bad deal.
The Rooms were filled with creepy wooden furniture, the towels and carpet was old and dirty looking. My bathroom didn't have a toilet seat and there was a balcony outside of my hotel window which was connected to all the other rooms so people could be walking outside of my hotel room. The breakfast was decent ( just baguette, eggs and unripened bananas).
