I stayed at Geo Hotel for 1 week, and it was ideally located to visit Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is located a couple of minutes from the Pasar Seni LRT station, close to bus station, Kmuter station and the free GoKL bus (purple route) stops a few steps away from the hotel. Rooms are nice and comfortable, good wifi, 2 bottles of water provided each day. You need to use your door keycard to use the elevator, which makes the hotel very secure.
The hotel is also very close to Central Market (2-3 minutes walk), Chinatown (5 minutes walk), and if you enjoy walking, you can pretty much visit most KL attractions simply by walking. This includes Merdeka Square and everything around it, but also KL Bird Park, KL Butterfly Park, National Mosque, National Monument, etc... For the others, just use a combination of free buses + light walking. I never had to take a cab because the hotel is so ideally located.
Room amenities are also great. It is a budget hotel and offers what budget hotels are supposed to offer at great rates. I never tried the food as there are so many shops and food stalls so close to the hotel.
My room was on the sixth floor and noise from the streets did not bother me. However, some guests in the hotel were often loud in the corridors, often at impossible times. I also got one hell of a view from my room with both the KL Tower and the Tamil Temple.
