Old but ok

The main advantage of the hostal was ıts locatıon which was very close to Gothic quarter and the Ramblas. Cleaning was ok. What frustrated me most was the bed linen, didn't understand what kind of linen was it because wasn't covered duvet it was only a sheet that we needed to fight each night in our sleep which was very uncomfortable.And the fabric was also very hard.

The breakfast buffet is very good compared to other places, in terms of affordability and dish variety. Rooms are not ventilated enough, quite small, and bathroom throws water out by design when I shower. Aside from that, nice stay. Gracias !!

Basic.

The room was very basic, and not comforting, it had a very cold decor, the mattress was not comfortable. The room was very noisy everything echoed and everyones doors closing were so loud. Great location though, although no view, just a building that looked like a school or nursery.

Decent enough property and would recommend, especially if you can find a nice deal which I did (£100/night). Close enough to the main tourist attractions (10-15 minute walk), albeit not a whole lot in the immediate vicinity (<5 minute walk) at the bottom of the Paral-lel. Rooms had a cooktop and a fridge which is a handy touch when travelling for an extended period. Staff were really nice and the bar downstairs is funky, although I had breakfast paid for elsewhere so didn't sample any at the hotel.
